To ask the Tool or not

I am feeling the need to vent about the Tool also know as my boss. I have worked for this man for over 3 years now and we have a love hate relationship I love to hate him and hate to love him and for the most part we coexist well. We do have our moments where I am sure he wants to tell me to go to hell just as much as I want to smack him and tell him what he can do once he gets there and how to do it.. But we are civil…

Anyhow at Christmas time he gives us a bonus of sorts and it is so nice. Well this year he forgot! It was just he and I in our office as my co-worker the lovely Mr. Smiley went to India on holiday. It was the last day of work before the 2 week holiday and as he was leaving he looks sheepishly at me and says I forgot to get your bonus I have had so much going on it just slipped my mind… Me being the cool chick that I am say its okay we all have life happen and sometimes it’s a bit over whelming. He says yeah and that he will get it to me after we get back from holiday …
Well we have been back for over a week now and NO sign of said bonus… I know that my co-workers in the NJ office all got there bonuses before we closed for the Christmas Holiday as well as my co-worker... so am I to assume I am just NOT going to get one and his sheepish weird act was just that or should I be a dick and ask him for it out right .. Hmmm I hate being in this dam predicament!!!
What to do what to do?
